Oh goodness, where do I start? Michelle Glass was such an incredible person to work with on my transformation. That’s what this was, a literal transformation of not just my clothes, but my mind. When I began this journey, I was hoping to be able to go in to my closet and feel proud that I could, just maybe, make some decisions for myself and in looking better, feel better about me. Maybe it would give me the confidence that I seem to be lacking.

As we began, Michelle had me complete questionnaires and really try to get to the heart of my true, authentic style, and my true, authentic self. I was brutally honest about myself which gave Michelle insight to the me at my core. It also gave her the tools she would need to get me out of my rut. When I tell you she helped me in more ways than I can even express, I mean it. I didn’t know that I had an actual style, I always thought I was just clueless when it came to personal style. She made me realize that I did in fact have a style and I just needed to bring it out more. Find items that would make me feel really good about who I am and not apologize for it. I have learned that when you feel good in your clothes, confidence can come right out and burst all over the place. Funny thing is that I never knew that.

Michelle tried to open me up a bit and try things that I would otherwise never think of. There were very few time that I really didn’t like something and very few things that she tried to get me to do that I wasn’t on board with which meant that she truly listened to me about what I was after. She then took that information and ran with it. Finding look after look and incorporating what I already have in my closet with new pieces that we shopped for. We had so much fun shopping together and found some really great pieces that will be timeless. This was my favorite part of this process, just being together and shopping.

I am really starting to feel good about myself now and I am actually finding myself throwing on more than leggings and a t-shirt. Taking actual pride in my appearance. Admittedly, not every day (work in progress), but going out for a quick dinner with my family and of course time spent out with my family and my friends. It’s crazy how you can change when you have someone’s help who truly listens and who truly cares about making you feel good.

I really can’t thank Michelle enough and I plan on carrying on the fantastic friendship that we have formed.
